ThinkSystem ST550 2.5" SATA/SAS 4-Bay Backplane Kit

This document provides important information about the ThinkSystem ST550 2.5" SATA/SAS 4-Bay Backplane Kit.

The option package contains the following items:

1 2.5" SATA/SAS 4-Bay backplane​

2 4x2.5" HDD cage​

3 4x2.5" HDD backplane power cable​

4 4x2.5" HDD backplane signal cable​

5 HDD sequence label (8-11)​

6 HDD sequence label (16-19)​

7 Velcro for 4x2.5" mini-SAS cable​

8 1x1 2.5" HDD fillers (4)​

Note
  • Some package items might be assembled together for easy shipping.
  • Fan 3 is required after the 4-Bay Backplane Kit is installed. If your server does not come with Fan 3, purchase the front fan option before you install the 4-Bay Backplane Kit. The front fan option name is ThinkSystem ST550 Front Mid Fan Module for 4x2.5" ODD Conversion.
