This option kit comes with the following components.

1 One front M.2 RAID B550d module

2 One MCIO x4 to MCIO x4 cable, 650mm

3 One M.2 power cable, 700mm

NOTE

• The illustration in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.

• The break lines indicate that the cable is not shown in its full length. Refer to the information in this document for the actual cable length.

• To make a front M.2 drive assembly, match this option kit with two units of one of the following options:

  • "ThinkSystem M.2 VA 480GB Read Intensive NVMe HS SSD"
  • "ThinkSystem M.2 VA 960GB Read Intensive NVMe HS SSD"
  • "ThinkSystem M.2 VA 1.92TB Read Intensive NVMe HS SSD"

• The M.2 RAID B550d module can be directly used for a E3.S drive bay chassis. If it is to be used for a 2.5-inch drive bay chassis, please remove its outmost adapter cage until the module is as shown below.
