The option kit comes with the following components.

ThinkSystem SR650/a V4 8x2.5" AnyBay Gen5 Backplane Option Kit

1 One 8x2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe backplane​

2 Four 2.5-inch drive bay fillers (1-bay, for SR650 V4 / SR650a V4)​

3 Eight labels​

  • One BP1/BP2 AnyBay label for SR650 V4
  • One BP3 AnyBay label for SR650 V4
  • Two BP1/BP2 SAS/SATA/NVMe U.3 labels for SR650 V4
  • One BP3 SAS/SATA/NVMe U.3 label for SR650 V4
  • One AnyBay label for SR650a V4
  • One SAS/SATA/NVMe U.3 label for SR650a V4
  • One BP3 drive numbering label for SR650 V4

4 One 2.5-inch drive bay filler (4-bay, for SR650 V4 only)​

NOTE
  • The illustration in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.
  • SR650a V4 supports 2.5-inch drive bay filler (1-bay) only. Make sure to install supported fillers to your server.

  • To install the option, refer to the applicable user guide:
