Der ThinkSystem RAID 940-16i 4 GB Flash PCIe Gen4 12‑Gbit-Adapter, der auf dem SAS3916 Tri-Modus-Controller basiert, ist ein hochleistungsfähiger PCIe-zu-SATA/SAS/PCIe(Tri-Modus)-Speicheradapter. Die Tri-Modus-SerDes-Technologie ermöglicht den Betrieb von SAS‑, SATA‑ oder PCIe-(NVMe‑)Speichergeräten in einer einzigen Laufwerkposition.
